Rhinoplasty (Nose Job) Harley Street, London from £7,600

Rhinoplasty – more commonly known as a ‘nose job’ is a surgical procedure that alters the shape and size of the nose. Rhinoplasty is now one of the most commonly performed surgical procedures in the UK today.

For people who feel their nose is out of proportion or misshapen it can be a huge source of angst which in some cases can result in a loss of confidence, anxiety and some extreme cases can even trigger depression.

At Elanic London we have some of the most experienced facial surgeons practicing in the UK today. From your initial consultation in our Harley Street clinic to our state-of-the-art hospital in central London, you can rest assured you will be in the safest of hands.

What can be achieved with Rhinoplasty?

  • Narrow the bridge or middle third of the nose
  • Reshape the nostrils by widening or narrowing, as required
  • Nose tip reshaping and refinement
  • Sculpt the bridge or nasal dorsum of the nose
  • Reduce the size of the nose with the removal of cartilage and bone
  • Nasal profile contouring

What are my options?

Rhinotip Correction:

This focuses exclusively on the tip of the nose and nostrils, perhaps if the tip is too bulbous, too long, or asymmetric. The procedure itself involves altering the nose tip’s cartilage. Rhinotip correction is also less invasive than a full rhinoplasty and involves less downtime.

The most common rhinoplasty procedure is reduction. This reduces the size of the overall nose and makes the overall appearance of the nose smaller.

This improves the appearance of the nose and can also address how you breathe through your nose too. The procedure involves operating on the bones and cartilage giving the nose its structure and keeping the septum straight.

Augmentation Rhinoplasty:

If you are looking to increase the size of your nose your surgeon may use either an open or closed technique. The procedure may also require harvesting bone or cartilage to build up your nose. Cartlidge is often taken from your ears and bone taken from areas such as your ribs or hip bone.

Your Consultation

At your consultation, your surgeon will aim to establish the results you are looking to achieve and explain in detail how your surgery will be performed. The consultation is also an opportunity to ask your surgeon about any concerns you may have.

Why choose us?

Our surgeons at Elanic London are some of the most experienced facial surgeons in the UK, performing hundreds of open, closed, aesthetic, reconstructive, and rhinoplasty revisions individually. Our surgeons are UK and NHS-trained consultant plastic surgeons who live and work in London.

How long does it take to recover?

Recovery time from a nose job varies from person to person, however, you should anticipate around two weeks for stitches to dissolve and for bruising to fade. It can, however, take several months until your nostrils settle down into their new position. In some cases, the final result from a rhinoplasty can take a year or longer to fully settle.

How much time will I need off work?

As bruising and swelling takes around two weeks to settle down many patients take either a week or two off work depending on the nature of their job.
